It was recently reported that Sony PSP portable Playstation’s commercials in Japan are featuring the ability to search Google. Taking these gaming devices way beyond mobile gaming and into mobile web browsing and search.
The new version of the PSP has built in Wi-Fi functions, and is designed to let users surf the internet from hotsports. The web brower can be used to access web-based email accounts and websites.
There is currently no info relating to Google working with Sony PSP to be the default search engine for its mobile devices. Sony released its new 2.0 version of the PSP OS on August 24.
