Google vs. Taiwan
Taiwan is asking Google to stop referring to the island as a province of China on Google maps.
BBC News reports that the foreign ministry of Taiwan is demanding that Google, and its Google maps correct its content to reflect the fact that Taiwan is an independant state, and not a province of China.
The foreign ministry has sent out calls to amend the situation, and have not heard anything back from Google.
The public in Taiwan has inundated the government with telephone calls and want to take action this week if Google does not make the correction.
