Google makes a $1Billion offer for AOL

Google made a $1Billion offer for a 5% stake in AOL. Beating out any chance that rival Microsoft has in getting attention from Time Warner.

The deal is said to let AOL sell some adspace on Google, and Google would promote AOLs spaces on the Sponsored Listings sections on Google searches.

Google Expands Google Ireland office

Google is said to be adding up to 700 jobs in Ireland. That is more than doubling current employment at a Dublin office serving Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
