In a step that inches Google closer to the ultimate online office suite, the company has announced this morning that they have purchased the assets of Zenter.
Zenter made a unique little software package that lets users create online slide presentations. This fits in perfectly with Google Docs and Spreadsheets, and inches the Google team closer to the development of a more powerful user experience. Cant wait until this one launches. Give it a few months to integrate, and we wont have to use desktop applications ever again.
Google competes heavily with Zoho on the online application from. Zoho has a range of online tools such as a Writer, Spredsheet, Presentation tool, Wiki, Notebook, Mail, Chat, and a Planner.
